# Printer Setup – iPad Kiosk App – Bluetooth

VPass is only compatible with iOS17+

Requires the Brother DK-22205 (DK-2205 in USA) 62mm print roll. Will not print otherwise.

Requires the installation of the black _VPass Kiosk_ App on your iPad ( **Step 11**). Some users may already have the blue _VPass-Kiosk_ Home Screen icon on your iPad. It may be best to delete it to avoid confusion.

### Brother QL-820NWB Printer Setup

**1**. At your Brother QL-820NWB printer, if you’re not already on the main screen, navigate there now using the \[↩\] button.

**2**. Press the \[Menu\] button.

**3**. Use the \[▲\] and \[▼\] buttons to select _Bluetooth > Bluetooth (On/Off) > On_ in the settings menu. Press \[OK\].

**4**. Use the \[▲\] and \[▼\] buttons to select _Bluetooth > Automatic Reconnection > On_ in the settings menu. Press \[OK\].

**5**. Press the \[↩\] button to return to the main screen.

**6**. You should see the Bluetooth icon in the top right.

### Pair the Printer with the iPad

**7**. On your iPad, open the Settings (cog icon) app. Go to _Settings > Bluetooth_.

**8**. Ensure that Bluetooth is turned on.

**9**. Pair the Printer with your iPad.

**10**. The iPad is connected to Bluetooth.

**11**. On the iPad’s _App Store_, do a search for “VPass Kiosk”.

**12**. Install the App.

**13**. Login to the VPass _Kiosk App_, using your _Account Owner, Super Admin_ or _Admin_ email.

**14**. Enter your _Account Owner, Super Admin_ or _Admin_ password… and tap _Login_ (1 **5**).

Upon reaching the home screen, tap and hold the VPass logo in the grey footer bar for about 10 seconds ( **16**).

**17**. When the _Connect to printer_ window comes up, select _Bluetooth_.

**18**. Your Bluetooth printer is now connected. Close the window and do your first sign in.
